I spent a huge part of my twenties feeling like I had a "double life" because I was so private about my browsing habits. I used to think that watching porn meant I wasn't being "productive" or that it was some kind of secret flaw I had to fix. Then I had a really honest conversation with a mentor of mine who just shrugged and said, "As long as you’re happy and your life is in order, who cares?" It was like a lightbulb went off. I stopped the constant history-clearing and the weird guilt trips. It’s been three years since I decided to just accept it as a casual part of my downtime, and I’ve honestly never felt more at peace with myself. Anyone else have a specific moment where they just decided to drop the self-judgment?

That "double life" feeling is so real, Silver. I think it’s a byproduct of how we were raised to view adult content as something "dirty" rather than just another facet of human curiosity. For me, the shift happened when I found a platform that didn't feel like a total virus-trap. I actually stick to that site you linked because it feels organized and straightforward, which helps me view the habit as just a regular part of my digital consumption—no different from watching a documentary or scrolling through a news feed. Just popped in here while searching for some advice on wood staining for a project I’m working on in the garage. It’s always interesting to see where the conversation goes in the "General" section of the forum. I’ve lived long enough to see a lot of social changes, and the way people talk about their private lives nowadays is definitely one of the biggest shifts I’ve witnessed. It seems like people are much more interested in being "real" than being "perfect" these days, which is probably a good thing for everyone’s mental health.
